MADE WITH LOVE IN THE HEART OF ENGLAND

WELCOME TO BARN COTTAGE

It’s lovely to have you here.

Barn Cottage is my cosy little home in the heart of Hampshire where I moved just before lockdown.

Like others I’ve spoken to, lockdown gave me the opportunity to connect with a creative part of me that had been asleep for far too long.

It turns out that my creative energies wanted me to make gorgeous scented candles!

So Barn Cottage became a thing and here we are! Ta dah!

HOW WE ROLL AT BARN COTTAGE

I make the candles in my kitchen, hand-pouring a few at a time to ensure the quality is consistent.

I use eco-soya wax (which has nothing nasty in it and burns cleanly) and premium quality fragrance oils so you get a candle that really adds a vibe to your room.

It’s frustrating not being able to smell a scented candle so I really put that at the heart of what I do.  I want you or the person you bought the candle for, to have a really yummy sensory experience!

WE'RE BLUSHING...

THE MOOD

RANGE

These 30cl eco soy candles each have a signature characteristic. It depends on what you’re doing and where you are in your home.

THE DIFFUSER
RANGE

These 100ml diffusers come in a beautiful black gloss jar that perfectly compliments the candle range.   They are presented in long black gift boxes with a pack of 5 black reeds.

THE MOOD SHOP

Our sense of smell is closely linked with memory, probably more so than any of our other senses.  Smells can evoke very particular memories and are also highly emotive. The 30cl Mood Range brings you candles with an individual sensory experience that leave your space full of fragrance even after you’ve blown your candle out.

LIMITED EDITIONS

These 20cl eco-soy candles have been poured into vintage English Bone China teacups which have been secured to matching saucers.  I’ve added a touch of dye to give a pink, green or lavender colour.  Their very nature is that they are Limited “one-offs”.

I will always try and match the fragrances with the colours and patterns of the china.

The pictures depicted here are recent examples.
